Kathy's Journal
I love to write! The thought of a visit to my private creation space fills my soul with happy anticipation. I ponder what this gift to me of personal time will bring forth.
Will it be a handwritten note on a pretty card to thank someone for a kind deed? Shall I write about my beloved Mom, whose lifetime of unconditional love fostered the positive attitude I strive to exhibit, or the antics and achievements of our Grand and Great-Grandchildren... family stories are everlasting.
Maybe today I will compose a silly poem about our sassy “Blessing” who is not willing to acknowledge she is a barn cat.
Or I should describe one of my funny episodes as I age.... such as my latest orange cone retrieval from under our truck during a town trip.
To be honest, the everyday adventures of life at the ranch with my Stetson Darlin’ tend to be favorite topics.
Perhaps I will only allow myself a few moments to jot down a list of subjects for future authoring. Yes, I like that idea.... story prompts for another day.
